The Consulting for Impact Club strives to provide students with the opportunity to develop and apply their MBA skillset by working on strategic projects with non-profit and social impact organizations around the globe and serving on their boards as non-voting members.
Who We Are
We are a student-run club at Harvard Business School with the mission of connecting students with global non-profit and social impact organizations to allow students to gain practical experience providing consulting services, and (for some) being part of the board of directors. Students lead discrete projects and support strategic decisions. Through these apprenticeships, students gain access to consulting and/or board dynamics, as well as experience working within a non-profit organization, while partner organizations benefit from the involvement and commitment of exceptional HBS talent.
Students: The application for 2022-2023 CFI projects will open in September after the HBS Club Fair.
Non-profits: The deadline for non-profit and social impact organizations to apply to work with CFI for the 2022-2023 academic year is August 1, 2022. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, given a preliminary acceptance by August 14, 2022 and a final acceptance October 10, 2022 after student applications are completed.
