Our Mission

The Consulting for Impact Club strives to provide students with the opportunity to develop and apply their MBA skillset by working on strategic projects with local non-profit organizations and serving in their boards as non-voting members.

Who We Are

We are a student-run club at Harvard Business School with the mission of connecting students with local non-profit organizations to allow students to gain practical experience providing consulting services, and (for some) being part of board of directors. Students lead discrete projects and support strategic decisions. Through these apprenticeships, students gain access to consulting and/or board dynamics, as well as experience working within a non-profit organization, while partner organizations benefit from the involvement and commitment of exceptional HBS talent.

Students: The application for 2017-2018 CFI projects will open in September after the HBS Club Fair.

Non-profits: The deadline for Boston-area non-profit organizations to apply to work with CFI for the 2017-2018 academic year is August 4, 2017.   The application is available here.

BFSEC does not charge membership dues to students because we feel that students should not have to pay to volunteer their time to serve their community.

All club activities are currently sponsored by the generous support of our sponsors.
